Alp is strategically located within the Cerdanya as it is at the outlet of River Valley Alp.
Alp is located 1159 meters high with most of its territory, forests, pasture area and ultimately an incomparable landscape.
Within the municipality of Alp are the populations of Alp, La Molina and Masella and its surface extends from the Collada de Toses to the eastern variant of the Cerdanya.
